Subcontractor Orientation
March 25th

An informational session designed to walk subcontractors through our prequalification process, compliance requirements, bidding procedures, and expectations for working with our team. The session will also highlight the benefits of becoming an approved subcontractor, including priority consideration for bid opportunities, streamlined onboarding, and increased visibility on upcoming projects. Attendees will receive an overview of our typical project processes and examples of past and current work to better understand the types of projects we deliver and how subcontractors successfully partner with us.
Certification Readiness Workshop
February 8th
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
A hands-on workshop designed to guide subcontractors through the first steps of obtaining SBE, MBE, WBE, DBE, HUB, and Hire Houston First certifications. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops or tablets to begin applications during the session with guided support. Attendees will also have the option to schedule a one-on-one follow-up session for additional assistance after the workshop.

Subcontractor Partner Forum
February 28th

This session provides guidance on contract compliance across our various clients, including badging for employees and certified payroll requirements such as LCPtracker setup and submission. We will also review invoicing best practices to help ensure invoices are approved correctly the first time, as well as required closeout documentation such as warranties and project closeout materials. The forum is designed to reduce delays, improve communication, and set subcontractors up for success on current and upcoming projects.

Experience with occupied facilities, renovations, or active job sites
Strong safety culture, including job specific safety plans and hazard mitigation
Quality driven workmanship with attention to scope, details, and finishes
Reliable communication and responsiveness with project teams
Ability to meet schedules and perform work efficiently in fast paced environments
Familiarity with compliance requirements, including daily logs, documentation, and closeout materials
Commitment to professionalism on-site, including housekeeping and conduct

Subcontractors are expected to maintain clear, timely communication with our project management and field teams, including proactive coordination, issue escalation, and responsiveness throughout all phases of work.

Performance Standards
Subcontractors must perform all work in accordance with the approved scope, contract documents, schedule, and quality requirements. Onsite work should reflect attention to detail, proper supervision, and a commitment to delivering work that meets industry standards and project expectations.

Compliance Standards
Subcontractors are responsible for reviewing and complying with all safety, documentation, and client-specific requirements. This includes implementing appropriate safety mitigation plans, conducting work in a safe manner, and ensuring all required documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
