Cooling Tower Replacement Project

This project involved the successful replacement of an existing cooling tower system, including all supporting infrastructure. Temporary cooling was provided to ensure uninterrupted operations during construction. The existing cooling towers, metal support structure, piping, electrical connections, and concrete foundation were demolished and disposed of safely.

New steel and concrete foundations were installed to support two new Marley Cooling Towers, which were supplied and set in place using a crane. The project also included the installation of new supply and return water piping, valves, and insulated connections. All required permits were secured, and the project was completed in full compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Project Challenge

  • Replacement without Disruptions

  • Confined Workspace

What We Did

We provided temporary cooling to maintain building operations, safely demolished the existing cooling towers, steel support structure, piping, electrical connections, and foundations, and disposed of all materials. New steel and concrete foundations were installed to support two Marley Cooling Towers, which were delivered and set with crane assistance. We installed new insulated supply and return water piping, valves, and connections, ensuring a fully integrated system.

RESULT

The project was completed safely, on time, and within budget. The new cooling towers enhanced system reliability and efficiency while minimizing downtime for the client’s facility. All work was performed under the required permits and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
